Chandeliers in the kitchen?

kitchen3_zps538530d9Would you?

I have to admit to enjoying the incongruity – and the grandeur. I currently have the modern strip lighting we inherited from the last owners, but I could be tempted. If, that is, I could get my husband on side. Which I doubt.

You can go rustic… (Think natural materials, stripped wood, painted cupboards, crockery artfully displayed.)

If I was buying, I would head to John Lewis, Sweetpea and Willow and the secret home of genius lighting, BHS.
