Have a Mango moment

Mango is definitely having a moment. First noticed by Natasha last year, the Spanish brand has really upped it’s game with collections that are not only on the money fashion-wise, but are incredibly wearable and really well-priced. Having regularly shopped Mango some – ahem- years ago, it had dropped off my radar when the clothes no longer appealed to me, but that’s all changed. Walking into the Westfield store yesterday, there was a LOT that I could’ve bought. It was really quite scary. Here’s what I found…

Purchase One: The Boho top

Deep down I’m a style hippie at heart. While I do love the crisp, clean lines of Cos, come summer, the appeal of a peasant top never wavers. So easy to throw over jeans or shorts AND covering pale pre-tan arms, I’ll be wearing this all Spring. Also try this embroidered white boho top, which will instantly transform you into the hot model in the top picture (*guarantee not included).

Purchase Two: The man-repelling sandals

Now, I love these. However, I do get that they may elicit comments like ‘what the hell have you got on your feet?” But, forget that and focus on the fact that they’re fun and the fringing is pretty darn fabulous. And at £39.99 they could just be the most affordable shoe of the summer. If you like the idea of fringing, but not on your feet, then how about this bag?

Purchase Three: The rock’n’roll sleeveless cardi

Frustratingly, the fringed short-sleeved, but longer-length, fringed cardi that I layered over my dark grey jumper dress I’ve had for years and my Topshop leather-look leggings is not online. However, I do rather love this black and white knit above. I’m a sucker for long cardis and can never get enough of them. They’re my weakness and this (over the aforementioned leggings) could be fab.

Lovely picks – a quick question, is the boho top white? On the website, it says ‘beige’??

Hi Claire, yes it is. More off-white than dazzle dazzle white, but definitely white. I have no idea why they called it beige! x
