The Ultimate Holiday Dress?

Super speedy post as it’s (still) the school holidays and therefore FULL ON, but if you’re yet to head off to sunnier climes (or perhaps you’ve been and are going again? In which case, I salute you), please allow me to wave the kaftan dress under your nose.

Both a highly practical holiday style (light and airy but covered-up. Just as happy on the beach as it is pottering around the sights/sipping a sundowner) and excellent at home (sleeves and sufficiently modest to allow a range of movement. I say this as someone who wheeled her four-year-old’s bike up the high street yesterday in a low, v neck dress. Good job I don’t have much cleavage to flash…). The kaftan is quite possibly the frock your wardrobe has been waiting for. I’m completely in love with and exceedingly tempted by Dilli Grey’s lemon version – with the ‘Mini Dilli‘ for my daughter. I really ought to seize the chance to twin before she’s horrified by the very idea of it). Do also check out Bailey & Buetow [first picture, below] and the gorgeous Jaipur midi from Marais London. I’ve also found some high street options – all linked below.
