You could go down the sensible route here, and opt for something like this classic simple trench in navy or beige and this lovely twist on the Breton. I’d wear this spaghetti-strap navy jumpsuit now with a simple white tee underneath, or with a polo neck in cooler weather. (Oh the joy of actually writing that.) This Peter Pan collar jumper would come in very handy as a layering piece – under these dungarees, perhaps?
Or you can see this as a opportunity to stock up for summer. I love this sweet sky blue dress with its twisted neckline (two words: strapless bra) and the square neck blue blouse [above] is holiday perfection (as is this broderie top and the peasant blouse). It’s hard to resist a little white dress – this one is less pretty, more slick (and would do double service for work if your office is less than corporate – as would this gingham dress, or this shirt dress, come to that. (So says the woman who works in her loft…).
Here’s a little edit of my favourites (all prices pre-40% discount. The code is BI40.) I think we could probably call this ‘The Pom Pom Edit: A Tribute to Alex’.
