This post is by way of a little thank you to Love Soap, who sent Alex and I some of their – truly lovely – products to try. And I for one have fallen a little bit in love: both with their story (I do like a family business), and their products. [Note that Alex and I are not, as a rule, easily bought! But we do always write about things we genuinely love and believe in.]
Everything is organic, so there are no highly scented, chemical nasties for little skin, but this means nothing to my nearly-three year old. Nope. What matters to her is that she can, for the first time, have a bubbly bath. (Her skin has always been very dry and sensitive so we’ve steered clear of this particular treat.)
Love Soap was set up by three (gorgeous) sisters and mothers (so they really get it), and everything is blended in their Suffolk workshop. Plus. the packaging is wonderful (those illustrations are by Stephanie Ginger) – you’ll want to have it on show. We have the lavender and meadowfoam bubble bath, and I’m sorely tempted to try a shampoo and a hand wash, too – perhaps the delicious-sounding mandarin and argan oil. Priced at £7.50 each.
