The May List

It’s the first of May – and we are so ready for the Spring sunshine to make a return.

I want to wear pretty dresses with bare legs. I long to fling open the french doors and potter in and out of the house, watching my little garden flourish and my children play outside. I sigh over pictures on Instagram of those in sunnier climes. And May is a lovely month – full of sunshine and bank holidays and both our birthdays. (Harry and Meghan have had the temerity to schedule their wedding to clash with mine – I’m thinking this means everywhere will be quiet and I’ll be able to have my pick of day trips?)

Here’s a little round-up of what’s caught my eye as we slide into longer, warmer, sunnier (please let them be warm and sunny) days. What I’d like to wear; how I’d like to make an interiors nod to Spring in my home – and the book I am finally reading (what took me so long? It’s wonderful.)

P.S. Sorry for our blogging silence over the last week. Sometimes the day job/family life/domestic demands just take over.
