Object of Lust: The Dropped Waist Dress

cd735f7bbab703a386c18e8884872e618539d6ffd86314c21896bce2c047d483It’s happened. After years of prevarication, we have thrown the dice and are in the game for round two. Yep, I am pregnant. Thus I have bookmarked Grace’s Pregnant Beauty Guide; stocked up on fruit (it’s all I crave) and Neom candles (totally organic, non-synthetic and the only scents I can bear at the moment. My Happiness candle is nearly at an end and am planning to try the Cocooning next, as rumour tells me it works wonder on morning (afternoon, evening, all night) sickness).

At 15 weeks, there is not much by way of a bump as yet. But waisted clothes are out – too uncomfortable (although my Topshop Jamie jeans are proving delightfully soft and stretchy) and I am facing a spring/summer pregnancy (last time ’round, I had a December baby, so it was all about skinny jeans, cropped black trousers and keeping warm) – so will be hitting Isabella Oliver for an essential or two, soon. (I’ll keep you posted on any great finds…) Fortunately for me, dropped waists appear to be in this season and so I am thinking of sizing up on one of these lovelies…
