My Life in Flats by Emily Murray of The Pink House

I have long admired Emily Murray, founder of The Pink House's green Chloe boots. And when I say admired, I basically mean lusted after with almost-embarrassing fervour. And then, when I spied her on her brilliant Instagram feed (@pinkhouseliving) looking hot and cool and fab at the launch of her Pink House x River Island bar, a thought suddenly came to me: now, this is a girl, like me, who loves flats. Flat shoes are very now, aren't they? As much as heels have all that leg-lengthening thing going on (which, yes, does admittedly help a titchy like me), they're just not very cool or practical or *whisper* comfortable. We want to live here: Tula Goodwin’s colourful Singapore home

Colour is always a good idea, especially when it comes to decorating. And, especially when it comes to pink. Which is why my heart fluttered a little when I saw pictures of Tula Goodwin's beautiful Singapore home. Tula, who lives in an Peranakan house with her husband Henry and 3 daughters also loves colour, "especially pink" and wanted her home to "be cosy and homely." With a beautiful mix of gorgeous fabrics, colonial-style furnishings and bright pops of colour, Tula's home is just the thing to swoon over on a grey old November day...…

So, what’s it like having 4 kids?

If there’s one thing that I get asked a LOT (it’s up there with ‘would you like chocolate on that?’) is “What’s it like having four children?” Often accompanied with a look of sheer horror or can what only be described as the look of someone who is mulling it over. The truth is that I only know what it’s like to have my four children. Someone else with four will undoubtedly have a completely different experience. Hell, someone else looking after my four children will have a completely different experience to me, so with that in mind, this is what I’ve learned….…
