There’s a lot to love about this outfit. There’s a lot to love about Olivia Palermo’s style full-stop (regular readers will have ascertained that Palermo is something of a style crush to Natasha and I). However, in this instance, I’m focusing on the shoes. I love a dash of leopard print. Heel or flat, they’re pretty darn fabulous (with the exception of those hideous platform stripper shoes – that’s one leopard print too far). I have, in fact, recently bought a pair of leopard-print skater shoes from The Gap – blatant Celine rip-offs, but pretty fantastic. Weirdly, they’re not available online, but I found them in store.
I also have a pair of leopard heels, which can zhush up any old outfit. But two pairs of shoes is never enough and so I’m currently hankering after a pair of pointy flats – this pair of pointy flats in fact from the brilliant La Paire…
Then there’s this pair of skater slip-ons from Saint Laurent. They’re a little on the expensive side, so they don’t exactly tick the box, but I do love them and as cost-per-wear goes, you’d wear them every day right?
On the other end of the price spectrum is this pair of plimsolls from ASOS.
And as we’re heading into summer (yay!) how about a pair of Toms?
If you’re after a heel, how about this low heel from Boden? This pair would be super-easy to wear.
If full-on leopard print is too much, then how about these sling backs from the amazing Sophia Webster? They’d look amazing with rolled up boyfriend jeans or with a black skirt. Let’s call them an investment shall we?
And of course, Happy Easter!
