Spring 17: it’s all about your sleevage

A short post today as I wrote this last night having tried my first ever spin class. O M G why didn’t anyone explain just what a spin class is? Needless to say, my legs don’t work and my brain is decidedly wobbly too. So, let’s keep it short. Statement Sleeves. They might not be practical, but ooooh they are pretty and a lot nicer to think about than my achey legs. Here’s some of my finds….

This white ruffle frill shirt from Topshop is fab in so many ways. Not just the sleeves and the detailing, but also the neckline, which makes it perfect to wear under a crew-neck sweater. Also in white, but with a few more frills, this H&M number is beautiful and would look great with plain jeans or trousers.

If you – like us – love navy, then this chic little number from Warehouse is a perfect go-anywhere top. Or maybe try this navy spotted top from H&M, the sleeves are so pretty and a great length for anyone worried about material flapping around their wrists.

This grey or pink flute sleeve knit from M&S has been a big hit with bloggers. The colours are very flattering and the sleeve is gorgeous. I also like this cream sweater with black ties from Mango. Great neckline and cuffs.

And while these might not be sleeves, I just had to point out these orange shoes from ASOS, which have this season’s low heel and would look gorgeous paired with the white Topshop shirt above and denim. Your next OOTD sorted!
