Hot on the heels of their bestselling Winter fragrance (they’ve pretty much got that season covered, scent-wise), The White Company have launched their claim to another season: Spring. The White Company are one of our favourite brands, so Alex and I have stepped – noble of us, I know – up to the testing plate and we can confirm that it’s a heady, moreish mixture of honeysuckle, English rose, lilac and jasmine (from £15 for a room spray; candles from £20).
We are also obsessing over their White Rose which is utterly wonderful – like walking through an English rose garden in the sultry, still heat of a lazy summer’s day. It’s not old fashioned, though – the notes of bergamot and lilac lift it into something new. (We also love the glass votive and the chic paper, £16.) I’m going to be burning this long into summer.
Sidenote: we hear great things about the White Hyacinth from one of our lovely followers on Instagram.
Something which is bridging the gap between winter and spring rather beautifully, is Lime and Bay – a vibrant statement of a scent which manages to be both tropical and fresh, whilst having the warmth of bay (one of my favourites). £20 for a signature candle.
