I first discovered Amy La Paire’s gorgeous sandals last year. Her beautiful boutique brand La Paire specialises in the kind of super-stylish sandals that make you feet look so gorgeous, you just want to kick up your heels and dance. Handmade in Spain and fashioned from the finest leather in beautiful vibrant shades, the sandals have been joined this season by some killer flats, making La Paire a brand you can wear all year-round. Inspired by “anywhere and anything, from a colour to an interesting pattern to doors, a building or a place” Amy not only has a great eye for design, but also a covetable and accessible wardrobe. We want to live here – part one

Look at this cushion. Just look at it. This cushion could be well be the new love of my life. It’s by the extraordinarily talented and gorgeous Caitlin Wilson and it forms the foundation of my sofa makeover. The thing is…I think it might be lonely by itself. So I probably need to get it a friend or two. Perhaps these chaps would work? Although I DO have small sticky hands to consider, so perhaps navy would be a safer bet? Decisions, decisions. They cost from $50 and YES, they ship to the UK. I am also completely in love with Caitlin’s house – so much so I want to move in. I think it might just be my perfect interior. I came across it on the amazing Design Sponge blog, a daily source of inspiration. Here’s a tiny taster…   The blackboard wall with its quirky picture is such a sweet concept – and so easy. I am in awe of how pretty she’s managed to make children’s art materials look (It is no mean task. I will be ‘borrowing’ the idea of jars with coloured lids).
