Your Christmas playlist…

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a good old Christmas song. They may eventually drive you mad, but who doesn’t secretly love a bit of Slade’s Merry Christmas Everybody (complete with the bellowed ‘It’s Christmas! at the beginning) or All I want for Christmas is You (and normally, I’d hurdle walls to get away from Mariah)? Michelin-starred chef Alexis Gauthier’s new cookbook Vegetronic promises a whole host of recipes that put the gourmet into meat-free dining.        Listening/falling for: Tom Odell (think Jeff Buckley meets Bowie). He was a hit at the Brits (where he won the Critics Choice Award and ended the evening by leaving with Taylor Swift…), played the Burberry show, and his debut album, Long Way Down is out 15 April. (P.S. Book now for his tour, from 11 October, tomodell.com.) He’s also rumoured to…
