The W&W Boden Edit

Ah Spring. You peek around the corner coquettishly, and are then blown back by a blast of icy wind. Nonetheless, ever the optimists, we turn our thoughts to our Spring wardrobes. And thus to the Boden catalogue, which has stealthily been upping the style stakes every season. Heck, its latest catalogue features Caroline de Maigret – it doesn’t get much cooler than that.

1. The perfect shoe?

I love pretty much everything about this outfit – the cropped skinnies and that great khaki jacket, but it’s the shoes which make my heart beat faster. As you know, heels and I are inconstant companions. But the Vienne mid-heel (£90) might just be my perfect height. I absolutely think I can do my usual trotting around town at speed in these – and I adore the red. It’s like they read my mind.

2. The new Breton

I am firmly of the opinion that one can never have enough Bretons and I heartily applaud Boden for offering them in a more colours than you can shake a stick at.

This one, however, is in a league of its own. The glitter spot Breton (£34.50) has both sartorial flair and a sense of fun. Who wouldn’t want that in their life?

3. Cashmere knits

Particularly the cashmere crew neckh (£99.50), which I am hankering after in that splendid orange-red. That would cheer up any morning.

4. Broderie top

16WSUM_WA708_WHT_M02Rather Isabel Marant, no? This broderie top (£59.50) is the dream summer top – the minute it warms up I’d throw this on over cut-off jeans and flats.

5. Accessorise with this bagww5

Because it’s fabulous level is set to high. Also, it has two straps so you can choose how you carry it. And it’s a decent size, thus ideal for those types (ahem, me *cough*) who insist on toting their lives around with them. Amanda bag (£129).
