Win! A stay at The Pig-in The Wall

January may be nearing its end, but winter is still here, so we thought that you might need a little something to pep you up. And so, we are ridiculously excited to announce the first of our 2017 competitions: the chance to win a stay at The Pig-in The Wall in Southampton, an amazing boutique hotel from the award-winning Lime  Wood Group.

If you don’t know about The Pig group of hotels, then make it your 2017 resolution to change that fact. Chic, affordable and renowned for great food, they are revolutionising the boutique hotel industry. Choc full of character, the 12-room The Pig – in The Wall is reason to visit Southampton alone. Set within the city’s medieval walls (some of the best-preserved in the country, don’t you know?), it is a super-stylish retreat complete with an amazing deli counter serving delicious food.

Rooms are compact, but gorgeous (think quirky cushions, exposed floorboards and beautiful bathrooms), but what’s really great are the little touches such as a Robert’s Radio by the bed, a Nespresso machine ALL OF YOUR OWN and in-room larder to raid. There’s no restaurant as such, but hearty bar snacks and meals (sausage and mash for example) are served, and if you’re looking for a proper night out, then either head into town or take a 20-minute cab to The Pig in the New Forest. Sounds good? We think so…
